Mariah Carey has apologised for her performance at the Michael Jackson memorial concert. The star sang "I'll Be There" with Trey Lorenz but said on Twitter that she felt she hadn't done the song justice. "Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me," she wrote. "I could barely keep myself from crying. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me." The ceremony was thought to have been watched by more than 2.5 billion across the world but Mariah continued that she didn't think it was really goodbye to the star. "One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people. He inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts." SOURCE: USMAGAZINE

Lilly Allen gets US Make-Over
Wednesday, February 18, 2009

The Smile singer has gone uncharacteristically preened for her American invasion, debuting a new look last night, as she performed on the Jay Leno show.
Gone are the messy bangs and bum-flashing frocks, and in their place full voluptuous curls, a sweeping fringe and a chic sugar pink fringed dress.
Flawless make-up and a glowing spray tan complete Lily's high glamour look, which screams old Hollywood.
Luckily the star has retained a spot of her signature style. The nails may have been manicured, but she forgoes pretty-pretty PINK for a deep dark purple.
And though the shoes were in girly lilac, their massive platform and vertiginous heel ensured they maintained a stylish edge.
Lily, we like! Keep up the good work, or at least, keep the US stylist!

Victoria Beckham agrees Milan move
Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Victoria Beckham has finally agreed to David’s dream of finishing his football career in Milan – despite their family being based in LA.
The fashionista has been concerned about uprooting her children from school again, but doesn’t want to deny David of his footie dreams.
The couple have now agreed that Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six and three-year-old Cruz will stay in America until the end of the school year.
A source told The Sun: ‘Victoria has told David she loves him and nothing will come between the family.
‘He was thrilled that she has let him pursue his last chance of playing top flight football.’
No deal has yet been finalised, but if Becks gets a contract for longer than a year it is thought the family will return to their ‘Beckingham Palace’ home in Hertfordshire.
The source added: ‘David probably only has a few seasons left in him and if he wants to keep his England place and maybe play in another World Cup he must compete at the top level.
‘Victoria can see that now — and after his career ends they can settle anywhere they want.’
Milan officials fly to LA tomorrow to work out a deal.
Beckham’s current club LA Galaxy want a £5 million bid doubled before they agree to let him go.
He could also buy himself out and sign with AC for free.
His spokesman said: ‘Victoria is very supportive but nothing has been agreed on his future.’

Cameron Diaz and Paul Sculfor: So In Love
Tuesday, December 23, 2008

Many predicted he’d just be a passing fling, but Cameron Diaz and boyfriend Paul Sculfor showed they’re still madly in love on a romantic Christmas stroll in Soho, New York, yesterday.
Cosily wrapped up against winter’s chill, the couple stepped out in matching – albeit for the colour – double-breasted coats.
Cameron teamed her light grey cover-up with a cool black beanie hat, skinny blue jeans and a pre-requisite oversized bag, while Brit model Paul kept trendy, too, with a stripy scarf and Baker boy cap combo.
The achingly gorgeous pair, who’ve been an item since June of this year and are reportedly house-hunting in LA, looked happy and relaxed as they chatted and giggled non-stop.
Wonder if they were Christmas shopping for each other? After all, they’d struggle fitting a new home under the tree…

Sienna to show at Fashion Week
Friday, December 12, 2008

Sienna and Savannah Miller's fashion label, Twenty8Twelve, is to make its catwalk debut during next February's London Fashion Week.
The capital's provisional fashion week schedule was released today, and has the label down for a 9pm show on Sunday 22 February.
Twenty8Twelve, which was started by Sienna and her fashion designer sister, Savannah, in 2007, has never been shown during Fashion Week. It won rave reviews from the style press when it debuted, and has since continued to grow, adding accessories to the range and gaining stockists around the world.
The show should be a hot ticket for the week, which many feared would suffer this season after its dates were moved to sit over a weekend.
Although this shift left many wondering whether bigger names would jump ship, there was clearly nothing to worry about, as Luella and Vivienne Westwood are both back for another season, while Julien Macdonald, Jenny Packham, Paul Smith, Giles and PPQ will all continue to show in London.
