Mischa Barton has reportedly been placed under "involuntary psychiatric hold" at an LA hospital. This comes after LAPD responded to a non-emergency call to assist the OC actress with a "medical issue". According to a police spokesman, "We responded to her home last night on a medical issue. We assisted with it. She was removed from her home." The actress' rep Craig Schneider also confirmed that she was receiving hospital care but refused to give further details. "Police were involved due to Ms Barton's celebrity status; to ensure her safe transfer to medical treatment for which she remains hospitalised per the recommendation of her doctor." A "friend" of the actress revealed that the star had been "dealing with a lot of personal issues". The hospitalisation comes just a few weeks after Mischa was thrown out of the toilets of Whiskey Mist in London and after she was pictured looking puffy and wide-eyed. Let's hope Mischa gets better soon!

Channing Tatum is on the August cover of GQ
Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Channing Tatum is on the August cover of GQ, where he's tasked with promoting next month's G.I. Joe (oof).
All he has to say about that is "I hope it does OK." Costar Sienna Miller chimes in with "You know, G.I. Joe, it's not going to be the best acting work we've ever done." Well, these two certainly know how to make us want to see a movie.
Fortunately, his profile is less about figuring what a mess G.I. Joe might be and more about promoting Chan (that's what they call him) as a good ol' Southern boy. Oh yeah, and he has abs and stuff that are trying to burst through that button-down shirt. Oh, oops, they just did...
Chan takes writer Lisa DePaulo to his Uncle Bruce's home in Alabama. There, you have to choose between liking horses or liking Obama, something Chan refuses to do.
"I don't care. If they don't like me because I voted for Obama, then f--k them. I like horses and I like Obama. Nothin' wrong with that."
Such a diva, this guy, thinks he can have his horse and Obama, too.
And that's about all you need to know about Chan. He's just a simple guy who "got crazy lucky." Oh, right—and the muscles:

Now someone help him out and get all that sports equipment stuff away from him. He's not in Abercrombie & Fitch ads anymore.

Mariah Carey apologises for Jackson memorial performance
Thursday, July 9, 2009

Mariah Carey has apologised for her performance at the Michael Jackson memorial concert. The star sang "I'll Be There" with Trey Lorenz but said on Twitter that she felt she hadn't done the song justice. "Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me," she wrote. "I could barely keep myself from crying. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me." The ceremony was thought to have been watched by more than 2.5 billion across the world but Mariah continued that she didn't think it was really goodbye to the star. "One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people. He inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts." SOURCE: USMAGAZINE

Lilly Allen gets US Make-Over
Wednesday, February 18, 2009

The Smile singer has gone uncharacteristically preened for her American invasion, debuting a new look last night, as she performed on the Jay Leno show.
Gone are the messy bangs and bum-flashing frocks, and in their place full voluptuous curls, a sweeping fringe and a chic sugar pink fringed dress.
Flawless make-up and a glowing spray tan complete Lily's high glamour look, which screams old Hollywood.
Luckily the star has retained a spot of her signature style. The nails may have been manicured, but she forgoes pretty-pretty PINK for a deep dark purple.
And though the shoes were in girly lilac, their massive platform and vertiginous heel ensured they maintained a stylish edge.
Lily, we like! Keep up the good work, or at least, keep the US stylist!
